ESC Clermont Business School: The United Nations of Diversity

In an increasingly interconnected world, embracing diversity has become more than just a choice, it's a necessity. At ESC Clermont Business School, diversity isn't merely a trendy term, but an integral part, woven into the very fabric of campus life, thus shaping the culture and experiences of its students. Picture this: students from over 67 countries converging in one place, each bringing their unique slice of the world with them. From the sunny beaches of Mexico to the landscapes of Nepal, the Business School is a global village representing every nook and cranny of the world.

As soon as you set foot on the campus, you will feel a buzz of variety in the air. Whether students are engaging in casual conversations over coffee or working together on group projects, the essence of diversity is present in every aspect of school life. A prime example is during lunch breaks in the cafeteria, where the variety of cuisines brought in by the students never fails to amaze.

However, don't just take our word for it. According to Le Point, a leading French publication, ESC Clermont ranks 4th among the most socially diverse schools in France. It's easy to understand why. But diversity isn't just about the numbers, it's about the stories and experiences that shape the student community. Take, for example, the first-ever students from Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Sudan to be admitted to the school. Their presence isn't just a milestone, but a testament to ESC Clermont's commitment to breaking down barriers and building bridges across borders. China, India, Lebanon, Italy, Colombia, USA, Rwanda, Morroco, Ivory Coast, Serbia, Srilanka, Vietnam, Poland, Russia…the list is endless. These nationalities represent just a fraction of the student body that grace the lecture rooms.

Do you know what this array of diversity brings? Exposure to new ways of thinking. By gathering in a class with people from all walks of life, students are exposed to different viewpoints and opinions, thus sparking spirited discussions. People from different cultures often have different thought processes and think about problems in unique ways; this perfectly describes the student body at the institution.

Embracing International Students: The "Welcome to France" Label

Adding to its commitment to diversity, ESC Clermont Business School is an awardee of the prestigious "Welcome to France"  label, bestowed by the Campus France Label Committee. This accolade underscores the institution's dedication to welcoming international students with excellence. France, as the 4th largest host country for international students, is recognized for its cultural richness and quality higher education.

The "Welcome to France" label, awarded for a duration of four years, acknowledges ESC Clermont BS's commitment to various criteria, including the accessibility and quality of information, reception facilities, teaching, campus accommodation, and post-graduate support. This recognition highlights the school's efforts in providing a supportive and enriching environment for international students, further enhancing its international outlook.
